Description
Suber Neopor: ETICS Boards for Thermal Insulation
Enhance building efficiency with Suber Neopor, an innovative External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) featuring rigid gray boards made of expanded polystyrene with encapsulated graphite particles. These lightweight, easy-to-install boards provide superior thermal and sound insulation, ideal for improving comfort in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
Key Features
- Superior Thermal Insulation: Thermal conductivity of 0.031 W/m·K and heat resistance up to 2.58 m²·K/W (80 mm), ensuring optimal energy efficiency.
- Breathable: Water vapor diffusion resistance factor of 30-70, promoting natural ventilation.
- Durable: High flexural strength (≥100 kPa) and compressive strength (≥70 kPa) for long-lasting performance.
- Easy Installation: Lightweight, easy-to-cut boards streamline application in ETICS, best suited for flat surfaces.
- Infrared Reflectivity: Absorbs and reflects infrared radiation, enhancing insulation in warm climates.
- Versatile Compatibility: Adheres to supports like concrete, wood, galvanized steel, EPS, XPS, and more.
Why Choose Suber Neopor?
Suber Neopor is the perfect choice for thermal and acoustic insulation projects within ETICS frameworks. Its 500 x 1000 mm boards, available in 20 to 80 mm thicknesses, ensure seamless insulation without thermal bridges. The lightweight design and ease of cutting reduce installation time, while the robust structure guarantees lasting protection, making it ideal for energy-efficient building upgrades.
Installation Guidelines
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is completely dry, clean, and free of dust, rust, grease, or loose paint. Repair cracks or uneven areas with Thermal Mastic. Avoid high-pressure washing with chemicals to prevent internal moisture.
- Adhesive Application: Apply Thermal Mastic with a notched trowel at a coverage rate of 2.2 kg/m² to ensure strong board adhesion.
- Board Placement: Install boards from bottom to top, staggering them to avoid continuous joints.
- Anchoring: Secure boards with fixing anchors. Seal joints and cover anchor irregularities with Thermal Mastic.
- Finishing: Apply 1-2 additional layers of Thermal Mastic to plaster and unify the surface. Once dry, apply the desired finish coat.
