Transform your spaces with Frost Thermal Films, translucent white polyester films that offer a stylish frosted effect, providing privacy while allowing soft natural light. Designed to control solar heat and ultraviolet rays, these films are ideal for ambulances, medical vehicles, hospital facilities, and decorative partitions. With a 33% rejection of total solar energy, they ensure comfort, privacy, and energy efficiency.

Key Features

  • Stylish Privacy: The white opal frosted finish allows 65% visible light transmission, perfect for privacy with gentle illumination.
  • Solar Rejection: Rejects 33% of total solar energy and 20% of infrared radiation, reducing summer heat.
  • UV Protection: Blocks over 98% of ultraviolet rays, safeguarding interiors and occupants from fading and UV damage.
  • Energy Savings: Minimizes winter heat loss through radiation and conductivity, with a solar factor of 0.67.
  • Safety: Holds glass fragments together in case of breakage, enhancing safety.
  • Durability: Scratch-resistant with a 50 μm thickness for long-lasting protection.

Why Choose Frost Thermal Films?

Frost Thermal Films are ideal for those seeking a blend of privacy, aesthetics, and functionality. Their translucent frosted effect is perfect for partitions, decorative screens, and medical vehicles like ambulances, as well as hospital settings. These films reduce cooling costs, protect furniture from UV-induced fading, and improve safety, delivering a versatile and elegant solution.

Application Guidelines

  1. Surface Preparation: Clean both the interior and exterior of the glass to ensure it’s free of dust, paint, or particles. Use a scraper to remove stubborn dirt and clean the frame with a damp cloth, removing silicone if necessary.
  2. Film Preparation: Carefully remove the protective layer, avoiding contact between the adhesive side and objects to prevent dust adhesion. Work quickly to minimize exposure to air.
  3. Application: Spray a generous amount of soapy solution on the glass and film to allow sliding into the desired position. Spray the exposed side and use a rubber squeegee to remove air bubbles and water, working from the center outward.
  4. Trimming: Use a cutter and ruler to trim excess film, leaving a 1 mm gap from the frame to prevent lifting due to thermal expansion.
  5. Finishing: Re-wet and press with the squeegee to remove residual water or bubbles. Visual clarity improves over 5-15 days as the application water evaporates.
  6. Cleaning: Clean like regular glass with soapy solution or glass cleaner, avoiding solvents or abrasives. Do not clean for the first 30 days.
