Description
Concrete Sealer: Durable Protective Coating for Surfaces
Enhance surface durability with Concrete Sealer, a flexible and long-lasting coating based on pure acrylic copolymers dispersed in water. This single-component sealer provides waterproof protection against oils, grease, and general dirt, making it ideal for both interior and exterior surfaces, including sprayed cork and micro-cement.
Key Features
- Waterproof Protection: Meets water tightness standards with low liquid water permeability (W3: 0.04 kg/(m²·h^0.5)), shielding against oils and dirt.
- High Adhesion: Medium adhesion of 2.80 MPa ensures strong bonding to various substrates.
- Enhanced Durability: Increases hardness and eliminates tack, ideal for high-traffic surfaces.
- Chemical Resistance: High resistance to hydrolysis, alkalis, and chemical liquid attacks.
- Non-Yellowing: Satin, colorless finish protects against UV rays without altering aesthetics.
- Hard and Flexible: Film hardness of 70 (Shore A), offering lasting durability.
- Versatile Compatibility: Suitable for concrete, sprayed cork, micro-cement, wood, tiles, and more.
Why Choose Concrete Sealer?
Suberlev’s Concrete Sealer is the perfect choice for protecting and enhancing surfaces in construction and renovation projects, both indoors and outdoors. Its acrylic-based formula delivers a robust barrier against wear, dirt, and UV rays, while improving the walkability of surfaces like sprayed cork and micro-cement. With a satin finish and durable performance, this sealer is ideal for walls, floors, and roofs requiring protection and aesthetics.
Surface Preparation
- New Concrete or Cement Surfaces:
- Allow a minimum of 28 days for material setting.
- Ensure the surface is completely clean.
- Sand polished surfaces to open pores.
- Verify there is no hidden moisture.
- Old Surfaces (Renovations):
- Remove loose or poorly adhered paint; test well-adhered paint for compatibility and adhesion.
- Ensure the surface is dry, free of dirt, mold, and moisture stains.
- Seal cracks or fissures with exterior thermal mastic.
- Confirm there is no hidden moisture.
Application Guidelines
- Prepare the surface as outlined above.
- Apply undiluted on non-absorbent surfaces; for absorbent surfaces, thin with 20-30% clean water.
- Apply using a brush, roller, spray gun, or airless sprayer, distributing evenly to avoid runs.
- Apply two consecutive coats, without letting the first coat fully dry, adjusting based on surface porosity.
- Allow 10-14 hours for recoating or 72 hours for full physical characteristics.
